Funding Opportunities

1. Covered Saddling Area Replacement — $25,000

The current structure has rotten posts and is no longer safe for kids, horses, or staff. This amount reflects lumber, roofing, hardware, demolition, and professional labor to build a safe, durable replacement.

2. Emergency Veterinary Fund Sponsorship — $25,000

Unexpected medical needs—colic, lameness, injuries, dental emergencies, and emergency farm calls—place heavy strain on the budget. This fund ensures immediate care for the herd without disrupting programming.

3. Program Expansion for Horse Camps — $16,000

Covers art supplies, activity materials, and partial staffing for Trinity Trails’ partnership with Beartooth Christian Camp. The amount is based on per‑camper supply costs and projected enrollment increases.

4. Hay for a Year Sponsor — $17,000

Reflects the annual forage needs of 25 horses, 2 donkeys, and 5 goats at current market rates for quality hay bales. Includes buffer for price fluctuations due to weather, fuel costs, and limited supply.

5. Saddle Repairs & Replacements — $10,000

Many saddles are aging or damaged. This amount covers professional repairs for salvageable saddles and replacement of those no longer safe for riders.

6. Running Water in the Barn — $10,000

Supports trenching, plumbing, frost‑free hydrants, and fixtures. Running water improves sanitation, horse care, and daily operations year‑round.

7. Horse Trailer Repairs — $5,000

Restores the existing trailer to safe hauling condition for camps, vet visits, and outreach events. Includes welding, flooring, brake work, and lighting repairs.

8. Additional Kid‑Safe Horses — $8,000 Each

Kid‑safe, beginner‑friendly horses are essential for camps and therapeutic sessions. This amount reflects current market prices for gentle, reliable horses suitable for children and veterans.
